The MCA Weight Loss Center is staffed with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare experts who can address each of the factors related to weight gain and successful long-term weight management after bariatric surgery. Our team includes bariatric surgeons, nurses, a dietitian, physical therapists, exercise physiologists and nurse educators. Because the MCA Weight Loss Center is part of a full service hospital, our weight loss surgery patients have ready access to the care of physicians with expertise in other medical specialties. |

Glenn M. Ihde, MD
Dr. Ihde is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a Member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgery and the American Medical Association. Dr. Ihde is a frequent contributor to medical publications and is in demand as a speaker. He is also the author of Considering Weight-Loss Surgery: The Facts to Know for a Healthy Recovery. |

Jason Harrison, MD, FACS.
Dr. Harrison is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and a member of the American Medical Association and Tarrant County Medical Society. Dr. Harrison and his staff are heavily involved with the MCA Weight Loss Center, providing counseling, medical and surgical management for those suffering from obesity. |

Meredith Larsen, MS, RD/LD
Meredith received her Bachelor's of Science with a focus on Dietetics and a Master's of Science in Nutritional Sciences with a focus on International Nutrition from Oklahoma State University. Meredith Reilly is experienced in a variety of clinical and outpatient dietetic-related disciplines, including bariatrics, diabetes, food allergies, weight loss, and eating disorders. |

Tiffany Ryan, LOT, CSCS
Tiffany received her Bachelor's of Arts in Exercise, Health and Sports Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Woman's University. Tiffany Ryan received additional training and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Tiffany's extensive clinical experience began at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School's teaching hospital, Zale Lipshy University Hospital. She has initiated occupational therapy programs for skilled nursing environments, cardiac rehabilitation, and bariatric patients. |

Dr. Glenn M. Ihde received his medical degree and completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He has served as Medical Staff President at several hospitals in Texas, overseeing the launch of both general surgery services and bariatric specialty services. Dr. Ihde serves as Medical Director at MCA Weight Loss Center, performing minimally invasive Laparoscopic Gastric Bypass, traditional Open Gastric Bypass, and other types of surgical procedures related to his General Surgery Practice at MCA.
Dr. Harrison attended the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha in May 1999. He completed his internship and residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and was awarded Outstanding Chief of the Year in June 2004.
Christi serves as the Manager of MCA Weight Loss Center. Christi received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Science in Nursing, and a Master in Healthcare Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington. She is experienced in a variety of nursing disciplines, including oncology, home health, wound and ostomy care, case management and bariatrics. Christi is a certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse and is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery and a Fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Debra serves as the Program Coordinator of MCA Weight Loss Center. Debra trained as a Licensed Vocational Nurse at the John Peter Smith Hospital before receiving her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. Debra Rundles is experienced in a several nursing disciplines, including medical/surgical, pediatrics, home health, psychiatric, obstetrics/gynecology, and bariatrics. She has over 20 years experience in nursing, nine of those years at MCA.
Meredith is a licensed dietitian and has worked as a Clinical Dietitian at MCA for the past year. She is the Program Dietitian for MCA Weight Loss Center. She also serves as the co-facilitator for the MCA diabetes support group.
Tiffany serves as the Wellness Program Manager for the MCA Occupational Health and Wellness Clinic and as Lead Occupational Therapist for MCA Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center.
Patti serves as an Occupational Therapist for the MCA Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center and works with the MCA Weight Loss Center's bariatric patients. Patti earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, an Associate Degree in Applied Science as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from North Central Texas College, and a Master of Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University. Patti Plumber is experienced in several different occupational therapy disciplines: inpatient rehabilitation, home health, outpatient therapy, and bariatrics.
